A new site dedicated to the work started by The American Sentinel was recently launched. Led by Historians Peter K. Chung and Lemuel V. Sapian, The American Sentry seeks to defend the Liberty and Justice of All. All too often, there is a focus to defend one’s own clique or tribe. However, Seventh-day Adventists, have historically sought to stand up for the rights of not just themselves, but of others as well.

We believe this is in accordance to the example of Christ, who demolished religious, social, and racial bigotry with parables like The Good Samaritan and His own example in dealing with the underprivileged and rejected of society. To this end, The American Sentry seeks to preserve both Liberty of Conscience, and Societal Justice in accordance to the principles of rendering to God that which is God’s, and unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s.
