PRAISES

Praises from the lowest unto the Most High!

Do you hear me, rivers? Do you hear me, skies?

Who made what meets my senses? Who made what meets my eyes?

There is a Creator, of Whom Creation speaks;

Do you know Him, valley's edges? Do you know Him, mountain's peaks?

Who made your roaring currents? Who made your streaming creeks?

There is beauty, beautified by the Beholder;

Do you know Him, daisies? Do you know Him, roses?

Who made your petals precious? Who made your growing gorgeous?

There is joy, singing of the Son-shine;

and I raise my hands in praise,

exuberant with Creation's joy, making it mine,

Shouting gratitude, to the One Most Kind.

Praises from the lowest, unto the Most High!

Do you hear me, rivers? Do you hear me skies?

Who made what is yours? Who made what is mine?

Who made what is ours? Who made all that we can find?

Who made you, who made me, who made us?

He is the Creator, the Glorious, the One Most Kind!
