On Sabbath morning, January 28, 2023, Dr. John Wesley Taylor V, associate director of the General Conference Department of Education, preached a sermon at Hartland College titled, “The Schools of the Bible: Contours of the Divine Plan.” On March 7, 2023, Dr. Taylor was chosen by the Andrews University Board of Trustees to become the new president of Andrews University, effective July 1.
John Wesley Taylor V presently serves as associate secretary of education at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. On July 1, 2023, he will take up new responsibilities as the president of Andrews University.
