Secondhand spiritual sustenance

Here, incidentally, we see a fundamental difference between the impact of the modern Adventist salvation controversy and, for example, that of the controversy which took place during the 1888 era.  No one, to my knowledge, has produced evidence that the teachings of A.T. Jones or E.J. Waggoner resulted in the slightest reduction in Adventist adherence to any lifestyle or worship standards.
